Gerry Cardinale continues to work on AC Milan’s future. The Rossoneri owner, who in recent hours finally completed Milan’s new organisational structure, knows that the squad needs reinforcements in the transfer market. However, one of the priorities for the club based on Via Aldo Rossi is also to retain its star players, such as Christian Pulisic, who, according to reports from the United States, has received a lucrative offer from New York City worth $10 million net over five years.

AC Milan to refuse New York City FC's offer to sign Modric:
However, according to gazzetta.it, AC Milan have firmly rejected the approach because Cardinale considers Pulisic indispensable to the club’s future and therefore absolutely not available for transfer. It should be remembered that the American forward, currently involved in the World Cup with his national team, is under contract until 2027, with an option for an automatic extension until 2028. There is therefore no immediate urgency, but it is clear that before long both parties will need to sit down and discuss a new deal. Talks have been ongoing for some time, but negotiations were halted a few months ago and are currently on hold.
