According to SportMediaset, a summit has just concluded at Casa Milan, attended by the Rossoneri club owner Gerry Cardinale. Also present were CEO Massimo Calvelli and members of the sporting department: Hendrik Almstadt, Director of Player Trading; Bobby Gardiner, Director of Football Intelligence; and Donato Lomonte, Head of Scouting.
During the meeting, which lasted just over an hour, Cardinale outlined his plan to revive Milan and reiterated his determination to meet Ruben Amorim's transfer market requests. On that front, the club's first major investment will be in attack: an offer worth €45 million plus bonuses is reportedly ready for Gonçalo Ramos, the Paris Saint-Germain striker who is currently representing Portugal at the FIFA Club World Cup. The Rossoneri are keen to complete the deal quickly in order to beat the competition.
Another major target for Milan is Kerim Alajbegovic, the 2007-born winger who plays for Red Bull Salzburg and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zlatan Ibrahimović has reportedly spoken very highly of him, having been particularly impressed by the young Bosnian talent, who is also catching the eye while representing his national team at the FIFA Club World Cup.
