Rafael Leao has once again found himself at the centre of controversy on 'X', as the Portuguese forward has generated more headlines through interviews and social media in recent months than with his performances on the pitch.
The Milan No. 10, who remains on the way out, reacted angrily to a sports page that shared this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport report claiming that Amorim wants to sell the Portuguese because he considers him a negative influence in the dressing room.
"Ruben Amorim views Rafael Leão as a negative influence within the AC Milan dressing room. The Portuguese coach is believed to have concerns over the winger’s impact on the squad environment," read the post, which quoted the report from the Italian newspaper.
Leao then delivered his response: "Maybe you are (the problem) because you're lying."
