After a month of complete inactivity, both in terms of departures and arrivals, Milan have decided to send a message to their rivals by surprisingly pulling off the signing of Diego Moreira, bringing the player in from Strasbourg for €45 million plus bonuses.
A talented, versatile wide player born in 2004, the Belgian has been brought in with the aim of adding unpredictability and pace to the left flank of a Rossoneri side that is increasingly built around attacking thrust.
Regarding the deal, La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning ran the headline “Moreira sparks Amorim’s imagination” at the bottom of its front page. However, the Milan coach is still asking for at least two more reinforcements before he considers his squad complete.
