Ruben Amorim wants Gonçalo Inácio to complete Milan’s defence. The Rossoneri coach knows the 2001-born defender very well, having already worked with him during his time at Sporting Lisbon, and considers him ideal for a back three thanks to his pace, quality in possession and ability to build from the back.
With Tomori out of the project, the defence necessarily needs another top-level centre-back. However, the operation would be expensive and therefore far from easy: Sporting Lisbon value Inácio at around €40 million, while his release clause is set at €60 million, as relayed via Milannews.it.
