AC Milan will make their Serie A debut today at 8:45pm against Torino, coached by former Milan player Ignazio Abate. It will be a tricky match in which every little detail will matter, as Ruben Amorim emphasised in yesterday’s press conference, with the Portuguese coach now ready to officially begin his adventure in Italy on the Rossoneri bench.
Regarding tonight’s clash, Il QS, the Il Giorno edition, ran the headline "Amorim, Toro exam right away" this morning. The objective will, of course, be to make the best possible start and avoid repeating what his compatriot Paulo Fonseca did two seasons ago, when Milan could only manage a 2-2 draw against the Granata in their opening league fixture.
