What does it feel like to be at San Siro today?
"It’s a special day. As a coach, I’m focused on the match; we have to win. I expect a difficult game. The team is nervous and eager to do well, and for it to be a positive day, we have to win."
Was your decision to start Bartesaghi and Luka Modric aimed at having control of the game?
"Modric has the experience to bring us greater calm, and the experience he brings is very important. He played 30 quality minutes against Torino. Bartesaghi is there for the one-on-ones, and he has the physicality to do that. The most important thing is the quality of the whole team. We have to run after the ball, we have to be humble and understand that we cannot press for the entire match."
Was the decision to sell Leao a decision you agreed with? Amorim replied:
"I believe that if you are part of this team, you always have to give 100%. If the team improves, the individual improves as well. The group is important to achieve results. As a consequence, the individual qualities are also enhanced."
