Peppe Di Stefano, a Sky Sport journalist, spoke about Rafael Leao, the now-former Rossoneri forward, on ‘Calciomercato – L’Originale’:
"He left a lot behind at Milanello. He never had a falling-out with anyone in the dressing room. In fact, perhaps he was often too shy and too introverted. He is a very sensitive person who has experienced years of huge ups and downs, while being looked after and supported by the team environment. That was because he was the strongest of them all. So he received affection, praise and also criticism. He did need to give more, that’s true, but there isn’t a single person at Milanello who disliked him as a footballer. He made himself loved by the Milan world. He was the last emblem of this team because he had been here for seven years. He arrived as a child, and now he leaves as an adult, perhaps still an incomplete footballer."
