An energised Amorim is gearing up for his first big match as Milan coach. His focus is entirely on Juventus, but the Portuguese coach could not avoid questions about the transfer market during his pre-match press conference, showing an internal unity that appears to be the starting point for this project: “I speak to Cardinale and Calvelli every day, so it is normal for them to be here. Cardinale had discussed the matter directly with the Blancos hierarchy, only to encounter José Mourinho’s firm resistance: the former Special One gave a negative opinion on allowing the former Palmeiras player to leave on loan. Endrick has yet to make an appearance for Real Madrid, as he is still recovering from an injury.
