According to Saudi newspaper Al Riyadh, RedBird, the American investment fund owned by Gerry Cardinale which also owns Milan, is leading a consortium working to acquire a stake in Al-Nassr, the Riyadh-based club where, among others, former Rossoneri player Joao Felix, Coman, Mané and, above all, Cristiano Ronaldo play.
The aim would be to reach an agreement with PIF, the Saudi Public Investment Fund, by the end of this season. In addition to RedBird, the group consists of Ibrahim Al-Muhaidib, SMC Media and other local Saudi investors. A source at PIF confirms that discussions between the parties are ongoing, in line with the club's investment objectives and future interests, as pointed out via Milannews.it.
