Milan are also looking to the future. In recent weeks, in fact, the Rossoneri scouts have been travelling around Europe in search of young talent. One name in particular has emerged: Owen Emeka, a 2009-born Granada attacking winger, who was watched on 12 September during the 1-1 draw against Albacete in Spain’s second division.
The Diavolo's representatives were actually there to take a closer look at one of his teammates, Dylan Rodriguez, a 19-year-old midfielder who, however, did not take the field in that match. Emeka, on the other hand, not only played, but also scored his first professional goal.
In Spain, Emeka is compared to Bellingham, above all because of the (striking) physical resemblance. Until last July, he had a €2 million release clause, which Granada promptly raised to €15 million during the summer. Milan are interested, but they are not alone: the shadow of Real Madrid is always in the background.
