Work continues at Milanello for the Rossoneri players who have remained at the training centre. This morning, Amorim will put the squad through a behind-closed-doors friendly against Serie B side Padova.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 AM (CEST) and is intended to help the players maintain their intensity and match rhythm. It will be an opportunity above all for those who have had limited playing time so far, such as Gabbia, who has recovered from injury and is now ready to play again, as relayed via La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition.
Alexis Saelemaekers, however, is currently unavailable after suffering an ankle sprain on Tuesday when the squad resumed training.
Among the senior Rossoneri players expected to feature are Mario Gila, Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Yesterday, and again today, several Milan Futuro players will also be brought in to supplement the first-team squad.
After the friendly, the players will be given two days off. Training will resume on Monday morning as preparations begin for the match against Sassuolo.
