A disastrous evening for Croatia, who were thrashed 7-0 by Tuchel's England. There was barely a contest at any point, with the hosts immediately put under pressure by the English. Luka Modrić spent 57 minutes on the pitch, having started the match before being substituted in the second half when the result was already beyond doubt at 0-5.
