On the occasion of the 31st edition of the Gentleman Awards 2025/2026, Davide Bartesaghi spoke to Milan News.
Here are his words on his current personal form:
"There is a lot of confidence, I have always felt it, and tomorrow we will meet again after this long break and do our best to prepare well for the Sassuolo game. We have confidence in ourselves and try to focus on ourselves, not on the other teams..."
His role at Milan and his objectives:
"I feel comfortable playing in a back four or further forward, I have no preference. To improve, we will have to raise the bar. Sometimes we struggle a little, but all of this is part of a process, and that is normal. This is always our moment as young players, and the Under-21 national team is proof that this movement is doing well."
His relationship with Amorim and the new arrivals, Bartesaghi said:
"I really like Amorim, he is a great coach. He talks to me often and I feel comfortable with him. I want to congratulate Ramos on his goals for the national team, but also all the others. Who impressed me the most? Gila, because he is a versatile defender, and Hutchinson, who is really good technically and also in tight spaces."
