AC Milan continue to search for interesting profiles to reinforce Amorim's squad, starting from the January transfer market window (Endrick and Gonçalo Inacio?). But, there are also plans to reinforce the team with an eye to the future.
A name that has been named as a potential target is Justin Ehikioya Ejodamen, a 15-year-old Italian central midfielder who currently plies his trade for German club Borussia Dortmund.
The player in question has both Italian and German citizenships and is right-footed. He can operate as a box to box midfielder. Born in Germany to Nigerian parents, Ejodamen has chosen to represent Italy at youth international level. He made his debut for Italy's U16 side in a friendly against Spain last September.
According to Spanish outlet 'Sport', Barcelona have made enquiries about the player and are closely monitoring his situation. However, the Catalan club are not alone in their interest: Juventus and AC Milan are also keeping tabs on the 2011-born midfielder, as are English clubs Arsenal and Chelsea.
Once he turns 16, regulations governing the transfers of underage players could pave the way for negotiations to accelerate. This could potentially spark an international bidding war for the highly rated youngster developed at Dortmund.
