AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie was interviewed by Milan TV after scoring the two goals which qualified the club to the Champions League. Here are his statements:
On the joy of the goal achieved:
"I am very very excited and happy. After 7 years, we are back in the Champions League. I thank the teammates, the club and the whole team. We have to continue on this path or to grow further."
On the weight of those penalties:
"It's normal in games like this that the ball weighs a lot. There are two things to do: either it goes in or it goes out. This thing doesn't scare me."
On the path of growth:
"The merits of this result go to the team, the fans and the club. We are proud of this achievement. We must continue along this path and grow further. The path is still long."
