Ahead of Milan’s away trip to Sassuolo tonight at 18:00, the latest edition of Corriere della Sera carries the following headline: “Milan must step up the pace. Cardinale imitates Trump to ‘make them great again’.”
The Rossoneri must raise their level after the lengthy international break and cannot afford any slip-ups against Sassuolo, whose home ground has traditionally been a difficult venue for Milan.
Yesterday, Milan completed their final training session at Milanello under the watchful eye of Gerry Cardinale, who arrived at the Carnago training centre wearing a cap in the style of Donald Trump, bearing the slogan "Make Milan Great Again."
