AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim spoke to Sky Sport at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg after the Rossoneri's 0-4 victory.
How do you assess the match?
"In other matches, we have had more control, but today we managed to score goals. I think we have put in better overall performances in other games, but in the end, people only look at the result. Obviously, though, I am happy with the win."
What does Cisse show you?
"For me, he deserves the playing time he is getting because of what he is doing physically. He knows how to be explosive. There are still things he needs to correct, and he also needs to do better in training. But tonight, huge credit to him. Scoring a hat-trick is extraordinary. At the same time, he must keep working."
Why don't we see this good Milan side every time?
"I disagree. I think we have played better as a team in other matches. We played well tonight, but in certain situations, if they had been more precise, they would have scored. We lost a few balls in front of our own penalty area and had some problems playing out from the back. There is work to be done."
You gave several players with limited playing time a chance...
"I believe in them. I couldn't field the same starting XI with the upcoming matches in mind. Obviously, there are risks involved. If we had lost tonight, I know exactly what people would have said. I try to do what is best for the team and make the right decisions. Tonight, it worked out well."
Will the intensity of training sessions increase?
"I agree. The most important thing for a team is for everyone to understand and believe that they can play, while also being aware that they could lose their place in the team. That is why I need 22 competitive players. Matches like these help players believe in themselves more and build their confidence. This applies to the youngsters and to Loftus-Cheek, who was very aggressive out of possession today. That is something we are working on. This match will help a lot of players."
How do you rate Camarda?
"Camarda reads the game well. He needs to improve his explosiveness, stride and tempo. We are working on that. He has the ability to run for all 90 minutes, and we are working on it. That was something he lacked again tonight, although he knows how to move inside the penalty area and has a good understanding of the game."
