On his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti commented on a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport regarding Milan’s potential interest in Nicolò Tresoldi. These were his words.
“La Gazzetta has put forward this rumour that Milan would like to sign Tresoldi, the striker who scored three goals against Inter in their most recent Champions League match at San Siro. I don’t know whether this is a bit far-fetched, wishful thinking or something with a solid basis. Tresoldi is a Milan fan, but he is a young player, and we already have young players in the squad.
“He would probably cost a fairly substantial amount. Of course, long live young players, but I would still like to see more established strikers in that role, players who offer greater guarantees. The goals were good, and he is a player who scores, but if I’m going to make another major investment in a centre-forward, I would want someone who offers even greater certainty.”
