Rúben Amorim gave the AC Milan players a day off yesterday, with training scheduled to resume today at 11:15 a.m CEST. at Milanello to prepare for the Europa League match against Bournemouth.
The training session will be crucial, also because it is the only day of work on the pitch before the match. In fact, the team will depart from Malpensa Airport in the afternoon, at around 4:30 p.m CEST, to fly to England.
The coach's press conference will take place in Bournemouth at 7:30 p.m., alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who previously played in the Premier League for Chelsea and has already faced the Rossoneri. There will, however, be squad rotation, and Alphadjo Cisse is expected to return to the starting lineup after scoring a hat-trick against Salzburg, as relayed via Corriere dello Sport today.
Hutchinson and Jashari could also start, with both certainly competing for starting places with Modric and Chukwueze. Camarda is competing with Gonçalo Ramos for a place in the starting lineup, while in defence, one of Pavlovic or De Winter could be rested.
The Portuguese coach is also considering whether to give Rabiot a rest, having used him in every match so far. The appointed referee is Greek official Vassilis Fotias, assisted by his compatriots Andreas Meintanas and Michail Papadakis, with Alexandros Tsakalidis as the fourth official.
