It is no secret that Gerry Cardinale has been looking for weeks to bring a new Head of Football into the organisational structure of his Milan. There is also no doubt about his preferred candidate, namely Markus Krösche, who was relieved of his duties at Eintracht Frankfurt in recent days at his own request.
As Corriere della Sera reports this morning, talks between the parties are advanced, and the hope at the Rossoneri club is that a deal can be completed soon, because Milan need someone in this role within their management structure.
Although he is no longer carrying out his duties at German club EintrachtFrankfurt, Krösche remains under contract until 2028. Therefore, to release him from his contract, Milan will have to pay compensation to the Bundesliga side.

Reports from Germany suggest that his release clause is between €5 million and €7 million.
Milan had already tried to sign him in the summer, but the Germans blocked his move to the Rossoneri.
