Beppe Bergomi, a pundit, expressed himself as follows to Sky Sport while commenting on Milan’s alternatives, starting with the one to Gonçalo Ramos:
“It seems to me to be almost the only real area of concern, because with Tomori’s return, who played a very careful match yesterday, and Gila’s absence, in the end the four-man defensive line operated with Tomori and the adapted wide player covering. There are many alternatives behind him, as well as up front: in the roles of the two attacking midfielders behind the striker, there are many players who can fill those positions."
Bergomi added:
"You can put in a more physical player or opt for a pure one-on-one specialist. Pulisic played yesterday and scored... in short, there is certainly no shortage of options in that attacking midfield area. It is a team that can improve a lot.”
