“With La Rvfleuze on production, the track goes extremely hard, I’m on the left wing like Davide Bartesaghi.” The French trap/rap singer 'La Rvfleuze' has mentioned the Rossoneri academy graduate in his new track named "Outfit", using him as an example of power on the left wing and a strong desire to make a name for himself.
The timing is perfect because, after some initial difficulties, the 2005-born player is earning Amorim’s trust. The initial process was complicated because the Portuguese coach, contrary to the widespread opinion, saw great attacking abilities in the young Rossoneri player and limitations in defence, which matter more in his original role as a left-back.
Bartesaghi's tactical and technical improvement:
Among the few positive things to take from Allegri’s management last season was the development of Bartesaghi. It was the Livorno-born coach himself who put his faith in him, asking former director Tare to keep him in the squad despite the many offers, including from abroad, as pointed out via Calcio Mercato today. It was said that he could also play as a left-sided centre-back, that he had the characteristics of a central defender more than a left-back, but Amorim has seen a completely different potential in him and is trying him out as a high-lying midfielder on the wing. The Udinese test provided solid foundations for pursuing this idea.
Amorim is fully immersed in this adventure at Milan, leaves nothing to chance and has asked his players to step outside their comfort zones.
Everyone, without exception. From the most experienced to the youngest, all are being encouraged to change something to ensure that the entire squad gets enough playing time to feel satisfied. The most fascinating idea, or one of the most fascinating, remains Bartesaghi playing high up on the left: watching him run and charge forward relentlessly in Udine, creating chance after chance, provided an interesting insight. Bartesaghi has an excellent stride frequency, a cultured foot for crossing and great stamina: all characteristics that are useful for playing a few metres further forward. Confirmation could come as early as Wednesday, when a Bologna side hungry for points arrives at San Siro.
