German journalist Florian Plettenberg, a colleague at Sky Sport Deutschland, has revealed some updates regarding Timmo Hardung, Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director, on his X profile.
"Sporting director Timmo Hardung’s future at Eintracht Frankfurt depends on the new sporting board member," he wrote on his X profile. "Desired target Christoph Spycher has asked for more time to consider the offer."
"Hardung, under contract until 2028, is highly valued internally and has held good discussions with Hellmann/Beck. Current focus: SGE and the winter transfer window."
Plettenberg added:
"One option if he leaves: a move alongside Markus Krösche. Hardung is also highly regarded for his work behind the scenes and the development of new signings."
For context, Markus Krösche is reportedly still on Gerry Cardinale’s radar as a potential addition to AC Milan’s club structure, while Timmo Hardung is also viewed as a strong candidate who could work alongside the now-former Eintracht Frankfurt executive should he make the move to Milan.
