AC Milan's objective is to keep their best players. No more departures or free transfers for those who make the difference. For several weeks, the Rossoneri have been accelerating efforts to complete a series of contract renewals by the end of 2026 and have planned at least three announcements.

The first already arrived a few days ago with the official announcement of Strahinja Pavlovic's contract until 2031, with an option for the following year and his salary doubled, with figures reaching as much as three million euros.
The second player who is about to sign with Milan is Christian Pulisic. The American has reached a verbal agreement in recent hours on a contract extension until 2031, after several months of negotiations.
The negotiations had entered a standby phase last year, to the point that in the summer some clubs tried to tempt the player, but from September onwards talks with his entourage resumed in a much more constructive manner.
Owner Gerry Cardinale, together with coach Ruben Amorim, insisted on reaching an agreement, and in the past few hours the green light finally arrived.
Milan - Pulisic: only the signature is missing
The deal will go through, writes Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition. The player will earn around five million euros per year and is very satisfied with the treatment he has received from the club, even when things did not go well last year because of injuries and a long goal drought.
After the problems he experienced with the United States national team at the World Cup, and a couple of months on the sidelines, the American regained his place in the starting lineup and scored two hugely important goals in Serie A against Lecce and Udinese, in addition to several plays that led to goals for his teammates.
Thanks to Amorim's guidance, the forward has regained confidence in his abilities and is now enjoying a contract renewal that could be announced soon, in the coming days.
