Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, former Rossoneri player Samu Castillejo spoke about his feelings ahead of this evening's Derby. The Spaniard announced his retirement from football in recent days and fondly recalled his time at Milan.
"The derby is always a special match. It does not look at the league table or the points; you only think about the match and cannot wait to play it. It is a match that you start experiencing from the first days of the week. We have seen many derbies in which Milan were in better form going into the game but then did not win, and vice versa. It is never easy to play; the atmosphere counts for a lot."
Castillejo added:
"Obviously, I hope Milan win. I predict a 2-1 victory, with a goal from Gonçalo Ramos. He has not started well, but he is a very strong striker. Then I will say my friend Musah, with whom I played at Valencia."
