Matteo Moretto, speaking in a video on Fabrizio Romano's YouTube channel, commented on Markus Krösche's arrival at AC Milan and did not rule out the possibility of a new sporting director also joining the club:
Moretto on Krosche's arrival to AC Milan:
"The negotiations for Krösche have been a rollercoaster. It is a deal that Milan had, in fact, practically already finalised before the summer transfer window. Then, due to timing and also financial reasons, because Eintracht Frankfurt were asking for compensation that was considerably higher than what Milan has paid, or will pay shortly, in these hours. In any case, yes, it is happening: Markus Krösche will be Milan's new Head of Football. Milan will pay compensation of between €3 million and €4 million. The official announcement, as far as I understand, will arrive at the beginning of January. However, it is clear that Krösche will already start working behind the scenes for Milan over the coming months. Then, from January, he will officially become the new Rossoneri executive."

Moretto on the possible arrival of a sporting director with Markus Krosche:
"Krösche will fit into an organisational and sporting structure that Cardinale had already planned after rebuilding Milan from scratch. There are other figures within the Milan structure, such as Bobby Gardiner and Almstadt, who, as far as I understand, will remain. However, it is clear that Krösche's role will be predominant and, at sporting level, he will be the one with the greatest powers. As far as I understand, Krösche continues to push to bring in a sporting director who could join the organisational structure, and the name that continues to be on Krösche's mind is undoubtedly that of his right-hand man, Timo Hardung, who is currently Eintracht's sporting director. However, it remains to be seen whether Timo Hardung will stay at Eintracht for certain. It is true that Eintracht are trying to give him as much authority as possible, but I would not rule out Hardung's departure from January or February onwards. Milan are keeping an eye on the situation. Other German clubs, such as Nuremberg, Hannover and Hamburg, are also interested in Hardung. Milan want to try to bring in another figure, perhaps a little further down the line."
