As learned by the journalist and posted on gianlucadimarzio.com, Milan target Junior Firpo look set to join new club Leeds United out of the Premier League as Barcelona will part ways with their defender. Milan made considerable efforts to take Firpo on loan for next season, but Barca were looking to make a profit off the player this summer and sell him to an interested party. Leeds made the move for the player, and it appears the left-back will be playing in England next season.
Leeds offered a rumored 15 million, plus bonuses, for the player to join on a permanent basis. The 24-year-old has decent experience in La Liga, and would be a more than suitable substitute for the squad. Milan were not looking to spend that much for Theo's deputy, and were hoping to get a loan option for the player. Maldini and Massara will continue to look for another left-back for the squad, but their idea has not changed in that they are only looking to take a player on loan for that role.
