Amid reported interest from AC Milan on their club's midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko, Premier League heavyweights Chelsea have unilaterally renewed the contract of the 26-year-old Frenchman. The same thing the Blues have done not so long ago with his compatriot Olivier Giroud.
According to the latest information provided by Calciomercato.com, the London-based club has exercised an option to extend the agreement of Bakayoko for one additional year, which means that the player in question is now under contract with the English side until 2023.
