The transfer market can sometimes present interesting opportunities for the managers as they look to find good profiles that would bolster the team without having to spend too much.
The Rossoneri are always looking for the right player that would be a welcome added asset to Stefano Pioli's team, and it seems that Atalanta's Slovenian attacking midfielder Josip Ilicic may be the right choice.
However, writes Tuttosport, the deal could be linked with Atalanta's interest in Milan's Primavera product who spent a loan at Spezia in the last season, Tommaso Pobega.
The newspaper points out that an exchange operation is not included that sees Josip Ilicic and Tommaso Pobega swap shirts.
Ilicic is 33 but has a considerable experience. He was one of the pillars for the team of Gian Piero Gasperini at the Bergamo side, but he lost his place in the previous campaign and could therefore leave this summer with Milan being keen on him.
