AC Milan management is aiming to sign new players to add to the squad of Stefano Pioli and thanks to the likely sale of Jens Petter Hauge, the club will be able to have some funds available.
The will of the directors is to sign a new attacking midfielder. The names that are circulating are Josip Ilicic, Hakim Ziyech, Nikola Vlasic, Dani Ceballols, and Isco. However, as pointed out by Tuttosport, James Rodriguez has a real chance of signing for the Rossoneri.
In fact, agent Jorge Mendes who represents the Colombian playmaker, enjoys an 'excellent relationship' with AC Milan and is pushing to move his client to Il Diavolo club. The super agent is constantly proposing his client's profile to Milan especially after the exit of coach Carlo Ancelotti who joined Real Madrid.
AC Milan, however, are carefully evaluating their options and have some doubts about the former Bayern Munich player's physical conditions. James Rodriguez, for his part, is willing to take a paycut in order to make the move. A 5 million euros contract in this sense, would be enough to convince him.
For Milan, there would not be any major issues to find an economic agreement with Everton who signed the attacking midfielder for free from Real Madrid. The transfer could be done on an affordable price.
