After the deserved victory against Lazio, which ended 2-0 at the San Siro, coach Stefano Pioli expressed how pleased he was with his players.

"Ibrahimovic has incredible fire within him and he has passion. For him, training is a pleasure, competing to win the game is a goal. When you're like this, you don't feel the years go by."
On using Florenzi as a winger:
"Florenzi's position has given us so many advantages. Each time we try positions to find solutions. We hope to do it in the next matches too."
On the team roster:
"We have some great examples like Ibrahimovic, Giroud, and Kjaer who are fundamental. We are a team that always wants to do well. There are many things to improve but we must continue with this spirit."
"I asked my players to always be aggressive on Lazio's quality players", stated coach Pioli, "excellent performance, now we have to recover, there is a great challenge on Wednesday. We have to dream at night and work during the day to make them come true."
The coach concluded then:
