AC Milan, led by coach Stefano Pioli, are working intensely these days to be ready for the clash against Serie A rivals Juventus.
The Rossoneri will have to play without Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is still injured with an inflammation of the Achilles tendon. The Swede trained seperately today but he will not be available for the fixture in Turin.
Even Olivier Giroud is not in his best physical condition right now, writes Gianluca Di Marzio. The French striker will be able to travel with the rest of the team but he is likely to start from the bench.
Tiémoué Bakayoko and Rade Krunic are out for injury still. Then, Junior Messias is still not match-fit.
In front of goalkeeper Mike Maignan, Pioli will deploy Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez. In midfield, though, Sandro Tonali will return as a starter next to Franck Kessié.
Rafael Leao will be on the left wing as usual while on the right, it will be a ballot between Alexis Saelemaekers and Alessandro Florenzi. The playmaker role will be occupied by the former Manchester City talent Brahim Diaz. The striker who will take the field is Ante Rebic.
