After the Serie A clash between Spezia and AC Milan had ended in the Rossoneri's favour 2-1, the opposition's coach, Thiago Motta, expressed his thoughts about the game to DAZN:
"It is a psychological question. For a team like ours, it doesn't just happen to us, it happens to take a step back after the goal. Milan came with many men to attack and left spaces behind. We have to be a much more continuous team."
On the final result:
"The result certainly counts, but we must remember how we got to a draw. We must have a free head to always play the same way. Milan, unlike Juve, came to attack us with many men and we attacked them in the spaces behind", declared the 39-year-old tactician, Thiago Motta.
On the mentality:
"To get to a result, it is not enough to just defend. We were forced to play according to the qualities of Milan."
