Atalanta's midfielder , Marten De Roon, talked to DAZN about the defeat against AC Milan. Here are his statements:
"Milan won thanks to their start. Scoring a goal after only 30 seconds changes the game. We tried to attack but leaving the spaces behind, then there are players like Calabria and Theo who are very good at attacking. In the second half we attacked more, but we were unable to score. Their second goal changed the match. We created but we were unable to materialise, then against teams like Milan, everything becomes even more difficult."
On Atalanta's attack:
"We know the qualities of Muriel and Ilicic. Luis has been training just recently, he is not physically ready, Ilicic has to lose some weight. It will be important to recover them to raise the level of the team. We have to do better than this after the break. We always struggle at the start of the season."
