Coach Stefano Pioli talked to SportMediaset after the game against Porto which ended in a 1-0 defeat and said the following:
"The episodes can determine the result, but we have been in difficulty. They did better for their clarity and technique, and for how they were on the pitch. We didn't start well, we had to manage the ball better, there were situations to create some more danger but we didn't succeed. he performance was not the best, at these levels if you don't play with clarity it becomes difficult. They played better than us."
Pioli continued:
"We have to believe in the qualification. It's easy to say but it will be hard on the pitch. We have 0 points now. Porto have 4 points. Now, we go back to the league then we will think about Champions League later. We had the wrong evening. I have to think about training the team well, as far as the referee is concerned I don't want to talk about him. I have to be more focused on other things."
