Stefano Pioli, spoke to the microphones of DAZN after the battle against Bologna which was a crazy race for the 3 points which ended in favour of AC Milan:
"We made the mistake at half-time of thinking the game had become easy. The second goal is a serious mistake because we were well placed. This match will teach us a lot. We are one of the teams that scores more in Italy in the last minutes, it means that we believe in it until the end."
On Ibrahimovic and Giroud:
"What matters is the balance of the team, when both are well, it will be a solution. Today was a particular situation and we were almost forced", said coach Pioli.
On the physical and mental condition of the team:
"On a physical level, the team is fine. In the post-Champions match, against a Bologna that has had training all week, we know that it is one of the most difficult. In my opinion, we missed a match where we weren't up to par and it was the one on Tuesday. We didn't do well on the pitch at distances, Porto took advantage of our tactical difficulties. Now, we are used to preparing matches in one day. I think the team is making a great effort from a mental point of view. This shows that we are a mature team."
Pioli on tomorrow's schedule:
"Tomorrow morning we have training, then I will certainly watch the two big matches, as well as yesterday's Torino match."
