AC Milan will be facing Spanish heavyweights and recent La Liga champions: Atlético Madrid in the Champions League on November 24. The first leg fixture ended with a heart-breaking defeat 1-2, and now the Italian club only has 1 point in the group.
The Rossoneri, however, will want to play their chances and try to do their best in the remaining two games against the Spanish team and against Liverpool.
As we mentioned to you recently, Atlético Madrid were set to lose the services of 4 important players including Antoine Griezmann who was suspended. Now, though, and according to Marca (relayed by Milannews.it), UEFA upheld Atletico Madrid's appeal for the two-match suspension given to Antoine Griezmann following his red card against Liverpool. The stop for the Frenchman has been reduced to only one round, a penalty that the player has already served in the second leg against the Reds. Therefore, the former FC Barcelona forward will be ready and available.
