Alessio Romagnoli, AC Milan centre-back, has a contract with the club until June 2022. While the player is not anymore a starter, he is still very much useful to Stefano Pioli who likes to use him to rotate in the defensive department.
After the meeting which took place a few days ago (see here), it seems that the agent of the 26-year-old central defender, Mino Raiola, and Milan directors are making some progress towards a renewal. The well-known representative does not exclude the renewal of his client as he admitted in a recent interview.
As poer Corriere della Sera in today's print edition, Alessio Romagnoli is ready to take a pay-cut. He currently earns 5.5 million euros and could reduce it to 3.5 or 4 million euros net per season.
