Fikayo Tomori spoke to Milan TV ahead of the important Champions League fixture against Liverpool tomorrow.
The former Chelsea defender is familiar with Liverpool and he said the following about Jurgen Klopp's side:
"Liverpool are a strong team who play with intensity, great speed and precision. They don't give up until the 90th minute. A difficult game awaits us. I know some of their players, so I know how they play, they are a very prolific team. In the last 3-4 years they have been able to score many goals and they are hard to stop. So we will have to be very focused and be ready for anything."
Tomori spoke about the preparations for tomorrow's match:
“I feel the enthusiasm, the energy, the motivation, the desire, everything. Especially in games like this in a competition like the Champions League which is very much felt. I believe that tomorrow's match is a challenge full of history for both teams. For us it is a fundamental race. It will certainly be an important, exciting match, and we hope to be able to win it."
On Simon Kjaer:
"When I arrived here he spoke to me in English, it helped me to settle in. We have played many games together, he is a true leader and not just on the pitch. He talks to everyone. His injury is truly sad. We will miss him, the team will suffer. Now we have to play without him and we will try to do our best", said Tomori, "We will have to run more, talk more, we will have to give more for him too. Tomorrow will be another opportunity to do so. We did well against Salernitana and now we have another opportunity in a very important match and I'm sure we will make it."
