Matchday 1 of the second round of Serie A has already started and this Sunday, the AC Milan Women’s team will face perhaps their fiercest adversary, apart from Juventus, and it is a chance to prove that the first half against Hellas Verona is, from now on, how this team will play in the competition.

Milan have 30 points and sits safely in second-place in the stands, guaranteeing the qualification for the Champions League so far, while Florentia (not to be mistaken for Fiorentina) has 16 points, sitting in seventh-place, only one point away from their seasonal goal, the fourth place in the table.

AS Roma have beaten Sassuolo this saturday, thus to win this clash means the rossonere get to expand their difference up to 8 points to the third place.

The probable formations are:

Florentia San Gimignano: Friedli; Imprezzabile, Dongus, Rodella, Ceci; Accornero, Re; Cantore, Pugnali, Nilsson; Martinovic.

AC Milan: Korenciova; Fusetti, Agard, Vitale; Bergamaschi, Simic, Jane, Vero, Tucceri; Giacinti, Dowie.

The game will take place on Sunday, 24 at 2:30pm CET at the Stadio Santa Lucia, in San Gimignano, where Milan have never won the neroverdi, with a draw and a loss on the two previous matches there.

In Italy, the TIM VISION app will broadcast it and it is very likely the AC Milan official app will broadcast it worldwide.
