According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have already set a meeting with agent of the player, Jorge Mendes, to further discuss the renewal which should be valid until 2026. The discussions have been going well and now, the signings on the contracts are needed to finalise everything. The talented forward will be earning around 4 million euros per year.
As per the same source, in recent weeks Leao's agent Jorge Mendes has received two offers, one from Germany and one from England. However, these offers were rejected because the former Lille star wants to continue his journey here with the AC Milan club.
