AC Milan club is enjoying an improvement in the sporting level and also on the financial department. Elliott fund is making sure that the losses are cut while gaining more revenue.
According to Calcio é Finanza, Milan could exceed the threshold of 300 million euros in revenues thanks to sponsorships, Champions League participation and other factors in the 2021/2022 season thus returning to levels of turnover that they had not seen since the 2011/2012 season.
As per the same source, Milan closed the year with a profit of 303.5 million euros, a result not far from the 305.11 million in revenues reached in the financial statements at 31 December 2006 and not far from 327.6 million in 2009 , and the 329.3 million in 2012. But, the difference is that those previously mentioned profits were characterised by sales of important players like Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea, Kakà to Real Madrid and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as well as Thiago Silva to PSG over the years.
