La Gazzetta dello Sport after reviewing the performance of the AC Milan team and rating the players for their efforts last night, have commented on the man of the match's performance: Rafael Leao.
In the match against Genoa, the Rossoneri did not start well and were under. They were not able to score an equaliser until around the 74th minute thanks to a header by Giroud. Even then, the match was still difficult as Shevchenko's side was strong defensively, compact and well-organised.
What changed for the better for Stefano Pioli's side, especially in the movements up front was the entry of Rafael Leao. The Italian newspaper heaped praise on the Portuguese winger's performance. We read the following words: "Genoa scares Milan, but then Leao leaves the bench and overturns the game."
