AC Milan have won against Lazio with a great show of force. The game ended 4-0 in the Rossoneri's favour. In fact, Stefano Pioli's men managed to dominate the game early on as they held possession of the ball. 3 goals were scored in the first half alone.
This is the lineup that Stefano Pioli's team used:
4-2-3-1: Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Hernández; Tonali, Kessie; Messias, Díaz, Leão; Giroud
As for Maurizio Sarri, here is the official lineup of his team:
4-3-3: Reina; Hysaj, Luiz Felipe, Patric, Marusić; Milinković-Savić, Cataldi, Basić; F. Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni
As we mentioned already before, the game started with Milan dominating and taking the initiative to create chances and scoring opportunities.
The first goal came in the 24th minute thanks to Rafael Leao's goal. A great vision from AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli who sent an impressive through ball that broke the midfield and defence lines of the Biancocelesti. The Portuguese winger had no problem putting the ball in the net.
The second and third goals were scored by Olivier Giroud in the 41st and 45th minute. Another brace for the French centre-forward after the derby. Hopefully he can continue this great run of form.

In the second half, Milan continued to hold the ball and keep the Laziali in check. AC Milan put the game in bed for sure in the 79th minute as Franck Kessié scored off a rebound.
Milan dominated throughout the entirety of the 90 minutes. A coppa Italia win in the quarter final tonight means that Stefano Pioli is going to face the bitter rivals, Inter, in the semi-finals in two fixtures. Now, however, it is time to think about the Serie A again. The next game is against Sampdoria at the San Siro this Sunday.
