Junior Messias spoke to SportMediaset about being part of the Derby della Madonnina. He expressed his emotions by saying that:
"On the path I took to get to Milan, if you can't control your emotions, you risk throwing away what you did. The derby, however, was a unique thing: there was the cold in the stomach before the match and the thrills of winning a match like that."
On the hopes of a Scudetto win and a Coppa Italia:
"We are there and we believe in our chances. We will keep trying until the end."
Messias also said:
"If I can do what I know how to do, then the club will think about redeeming me. I'm happy with Wednesday's performance because I felt good, brilliant: that's me. When you feel like this, your head also works differently."
