Former AC Milan legendary coach, Arrigo Sacchi, watched yesterday's Coppa Italia semi-final first leg derby with great attention. He had a lot to say to La Gazzetta dello Sport about the performance of the Rossoneri against the Nerazzurri:
"The Rossoneri seemed more reactive to me. But, they were also very confusing. They had wasted opportunities by precipitation. In particular, I am referreing to those chances of Alexis Saelemaekers and Theo Hernandez. These errors, I attribute to youth."
He continued:
"Young players are always in a hurry, and haste is never good. In those moments, you must use technique. But instead, the limits of the group's quality emerged."
Sacchi focused on Alexis Saelemaekers:
"Saelemaekers, for example, is very generous but, he is very hectic too. He's here, he's there, but the end product is little. Maybe in a few more years, and in certain situations, he would be more decisive. However, he is a little bit unripe for now."
