Former AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who chose to leave the red and black faithful on a free transfer to sign for French club PSG had a nightmare of a game yesterday in the Champions League against Real Madrid.

After securing the lead in the first game (1-0) and also in the first half of the second leg, Donnarumma made the mistake of not clearing the ball immediately. He did not deal with the pressing of Karim Benzema's, he lost the ball which ended in a goal for Los Blancos. The match ended 3-0 and 3-2 on aggregate for the Spanish giants, all thanks to a hat-trick for the French legendary striker.

Marca explained that after the game, Gianluigi and Neymar had to be pulled apart from the dressing room as they almost came to blows. The Brazilian forward blamed the Italian goalkeeper for the first goal and "Donnarumma reminded Neymar that Real Madrid's second goal came after a mistake from the Brazil international and everything escalated, with the two players almost coming to blows before the pair was pulled apart", wrote the source.

They exchanged words and had to be pulled apart. After the fixture, Nasser Al Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo headed to the dressing room of the referees accusing the officials of not giving a foul for PSG after Benzema's intervention on Donnarumma with the PSG president reportedly shouting at a Real Madrid club employee who was seen filming the scene: "I'll kill you!" before the intervention of bodyguards and security.
