Lazio President Claudio Lotito and his sporting director Igli Tare are desperate to sign a new centre-back for coach Maurizio Sarri in the summer. As of now, Lazio have 46 points, 10 points away from fourth who are Juventus.
The Brazilian centre-back of the Laziali Luiz Felipe who is 24 may be set to leave at the end of the current season on a free as it seems that a renewal is unlikely. With having only Acerbi (34 years old), Stefan Radu (35) and 28-year-old Spanish centre-back Patric, there is a clear need to bring a new addition.

In this sense, today's Corriere dello Sport continues to claim that the Biancocelesti are aiming to secure the arrival of Italian centre-back who is currently at Milan: Alessio Romagnoli.
In fact, Lazio's president Claudio Lotito is willing to provide the AC Milan's captain with a tempting contract of 3.2 million euros. The Rossonero number 13 has a conract which expires at the end of the season and it could make sense for him to leave as a free agent just to play for the club he always supported as a kid.
