Fikayo Tomori's impressive performances with AC Milan are certainly something to cherish for the Rossoneri fans. Since his initial arrival on loan, he immediately showed confidence, speed and good reading of the game. The English centre-back is a fundamental piece in Pioli's system as the team now fights for the Scudetto. The Former Chelsea defender said the following words to discuss the form of his team:
"We come from excellent results and we don't want to stop. We have to continue this path and the way we approach matches is giving results."
On the Scudetto race:
"Inter are an excellent team, Napoli have quality. I also like Juventus and Roma. I don't think there is one better than the others, if anything there are weaknesses and strengths. Like us, we have characteristics that can allow us to win against anyone. In the end, the ranking will tell who has been the best: today it rewards us and our strengths", said Fikayo Tomori.
He continued:
"We know where we are and where we want to go. We know that it is a decisive moment and that no distractions are allowed now. But we have great champions who help us. Maignan won the last French championship with Lille, Giroud lifted the World Cup, Ibra has a crazy mentality. And in the staff there are competent and winners like Dida and Bonera. We are young, but determined."
Fikayo Tomori on Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
"Since I arrived Ibra has only repeated one word to me: to win. To win in every situation, in training, in matches. From the locker room to the pitch. Ibra is always heard. He continually encourages us and makes a huge contribution in keeping us always focused. He is the first to point out if we should run more or defend better."

On Stefano Pioli:
"Pioli never tires of teaching us, every day we learn and grow. We work on mistakes and we are more aware of our qualities. We are a great group, we play as a team, we are strong on the counterattack and we have a good defensive phase. We run for each other with the spirit of sacrifice."
From pursuers to masters of your own destiny in the league table...
"We are focused on ourselves and on what we want to do. We have a well-defined strategy, we have followed it and it has brought us where we are. Now we must insist: if possible, play with even more intensity and concentration. They will be fundamental elements. We proved it against Napoli. We know the way forward to get where we want to go. Now, every match from now until the end will be more and more decisive."
On Olivier Giroud, also a teammate at Chelsea and a winner:
"Sure, as soon as the first rumors started. He asked me what the situation was like at Milan and I replied that it would be fantastic to have him with us, because he would help us win. 'Oli' is decisive, he proved it here too. With his experience he manages to lead the youngest."
Tomori on Mike Maignan's help:
"Mike gives great confidence, we talk a lot during the game and off the pitch. We sit next to each other in the locker room, he has an incredible mentality, we discuss everything. Lately also about his experience in France, about how he lived the end of the season that then led Lille to triumph. He says not to worry about the others but to keep the focus only on us and on the next match, step by step."

No thought about how you would celebrate the Scudetto?
"Not yet, but I am convinced that with Saelemaekers we would invent something... For now, I can say that if I had to run ten kilometers more on the pitch, I would certainly not back down."
A thought about Roman Abramovich and Chelsea's difficult moment after Russia waging war on Ukraine...
"I read the news in the newspapers (about the war). I can only say that it is a difficult period that sees so many people suffering. I hope that whoever has the power to do so can make decisions to resolve everything as quickly as possible."
